PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a QA professional to design and execute comprehensive test strategies for web and mobile applications in the banking sector. You will develop automated tests using a defined framework, ensure traceability from requirements to test coverage, and maintain JIRA artifacts while collaborating with multiple teams to improve quality and delivery timelines.

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in web and mobile application testing within the banking industry.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to process complex requirements and develop end-to-end test scenarios and test cases.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a strong understanding of manual and automated testing lifecycles.

• Support daily test management reporting, participate in daily stand-ups, drive defect resolution, conduct demos, and support clarification sessions.
• Track downtime and maintain regression packs by incorporating delta scenarios and removing non-applicable test cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Design comprehensive test strategies and scenarios based on acceptance criteria, translating them into advanced JB standards for scripting.


• Develop test coverage across UI, functional, error handling, security baseline, regression, negative, and end-to-end scenarios.


• Develop reusable test assets and test steps aligned with business requirements, ensuring traceability between requirements and test coverage.


• Develop and maintain automated test scripts using defined framework coding standards, ensuring automation coverage is extended across applicable web and mobile platforms.


• Execute test cases with quality and maintain traceability of test artifacts within JIRA.


• Drive defect management activities, including timely defect closure and root cause analysis (RCA), in collaboration with technology partners to support continuous improvement.


• Ensure JIRA hygiene is maintained to support reusability, consistency, and audit compliance.


• Support daily test management reporting, participate in daily stand-ups, drive defect resolution, conduct demos, and support clarification sessions.


• Track downtime and maintain regression packs by incorporating delta scenarios and removing non-applicable test cases.


• Document live verification test scenario coverage, review automated scripts for live verification, and prepare training materials to support product and service knowledge sharing.


• Participate in live implementations and provide post-production support, including investigation, testing, and deployment of fixes.


• Drive efficiency through the adoption of tools such as JIRA assistance, QA tooling enablement on internal SharePoint platforms, and continuous feedback to Product Owners and team members on best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of working experience, preferably in web and mobile application testing within the banking industry.


• Strong analytical skills with the ability to process complex requirements and develop end-to-end test scenarios and test cases.


• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with a strong understanding of manual and automated testing lifecycles.


• Experience working within Agile project teams in the banking industry and hands-on experience with JBehave.


• Understanding of Java and VB Scripting is an advantage.


• Experience with quality assurance processes and tools such as JIRA and Confluence is required.


• Strong stakeholder management, verbal communication, and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.


• Good team player with strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.


• Demonstrated resilience and the ability to perform effectively under pressure.


• Quick learner, adaptable to changing project requirements, and proactive in supporting team objectives.


• Strong working knowledge of SDLC practices and procedures.


• Ability to manage multiple concurrent activities and projects.
