Job summary

PERSOL Singapore Pte Ltd in Singapore is hiring a software engineer specializing in AI/GenAI to design, develop, and maintain scalable applications and microservices. You will work with business stakeholders to refine requirements and build REST APIs, LLM-powered features, and multi-agent workflows.

You should have a Bachelor's in CS/IT/AI and 3–5 years of hands-on experience, with proficiency in Python/Java/Node.js, FastAPI or Spring Boot, Git and CI/CD, and cloud/Docker.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/IT/AI or related field.
• 3–5 years in software development, backend or full-stack, with AI/GenAI exposure.
• Proficient in Python, Java, or Node.js; experience with FastAPI or Spring Boot.
• Experience designing REST APIs, microservices, and scalable backends.
• Hands-on experience integrating LLMs into applications, incl. chatbots or copilots.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, context engineering, and RAG.
• Familiarity with LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex.
• Frontend basics: JavaScript/TypeScript/React.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, cloud platforms, and Docker is advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Develop and integrate LLM-powered features (e.g., copilots, chatbots, decision support tools).
• Build backend services using Java, Python, Node.js, and modern frameworks (FastAPI, Spring Boot).
• Perform prompt engineering, context engineering, and RAG (retrieval-augmented generation).
• Build and orchestrate AI agents, Agent Harness and multi-agent workflows.
• Contribute to full-stack development, including basic UI/UX using JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Manage end-to-end SDLC (Software Development Lifecycle), including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in software development, backend engineering, or full-stack development, preferably with exposure to AI/GenAI applications.
• Strong programming proficiency in Python, Java, or Node.js, with experience using frameworks such as FastAPI or Spring Boot.
• Experience designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs, microservices, and scalable backend applications.
• Hands-on experience developing and integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) into applications, including chatbots, AI copilots, or intelligent automation solutions.
• Good understanding of prompt engineering, context engineering, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
• Familiarity with AI development frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, or equivalent technologies.
• Knowledge of AI agent development, agent orchestration, and multi-agent workflows.
• Working knowledge of frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, or React.js.
• Familiarity with the end-to-end Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and containerization technologies such as Docker would be advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
