Job summary

Vopak invites applications for a Team Leader to oversee smooth and safe terminal operations. You will guide a team, manage investigations, and ensure regulatory and company standards are met.

With 3-5 years in terminal operations and at least 3 years as a Team Coordinator, you bring hands-on expertise in equipment, products and SHE requirements. This role offers a hybrid work arrangement and opportunities to lead improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Chemical Process Technology or equivalent
• 3-5 years of relevant terminal operations experience in similar industry
• At least 3 years' experience as a Team Coordinator
• Wealth of hands-on knowledge of terminal operations and in depth site-specific knowledge
• In depth knowledge of products, equipment and a seasoned SHE expert
• Knowledge of safety, health and environmental regulations
• Ability to manage multiple party communication and operate under stress critical

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the smooth and safe execution of all operations in the terminal
• Lead the team in investigations, troubleshooting and problem solving of incidents and abnormal observations
• Manage manpower administration, workflow scheduling and communication
• Lead in effective shift briefings and ensure key management objectives are communicated in a timely manner
• Ensure compliance of local regulatory and company's standards
• Manage and prepare for all audits, e.g. customers, ISO, regulatory, THA and safety audits
• Deliver customer expectations and standards
• Train and supervise Operations team members to ensure they are competent in their jobs
