Job summary

Vopak Terminals Singapore PTE LTD is seeking a Manager Operations to lead day-to-day terminal activities, ensure safe and efficient operations, and drive continuous improvements. The role requires strong leadership, technical knowledge of industrial processes, and excellent stakeholder management to meet regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications

• At least a Diploma and/or degree equivalent with terminal Operations experience.
• 6-9 years of experience in similar role and industry.
• Experience in industrial / batch process plant is preferred.
• Experience in leading a diverse team and driving change.
• Excellent planning and tactical conceptualisation abilities in operational problem-solving.
• Strong data analytics skills and ability to translate insights into improvements.
• Good knowledge of operations, safety and product knowledge.
• Knowledge of safety, health and environment practices.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day terminal operations to ensure quality services.
• Coordinate cross-shift operations and service delivery.
• Drive service excellence through continuous improvement.
• Act as Site Main Controller during emergencies in absence of Terminal Manager.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Utilize data analytics to improve operations and performance.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Ensure readiness for customer audits and regulatory compliance.
• Lead new projects and oversee commissioning of facilities.
• Plan and coordinate plant shutdowns and maintenance.
