Job summary

The Institute of Mental Health (IMH) in Singapore is seeking a Temp Research Assistant (Part-Time) to support funded research projects, ensuring scientific rigour and operational feasibility across study process.   • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Understanding of research ethics and confidentiality requirements.
  • Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping abilities.
  • Experience with qualitative research methods preferred.
  • Familiarity with statistical software advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate participant recruitment and data collection while monitoring response rates. Clean and code data for statistical analysis, prepare datasets, and maintain data quality standards throughout collection.
  • Coordinate and schedule Interview and focus group discussions, managing participant logistics and documentation. Transcribe audio recordings and prepare transcripts for thematic and realist analysis.
  • Maintain secure records of consent forms, anonymised data, and audit trails for analysis. Assist with progress reports, research logs, and ethics compliance documentation.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for access, scheduling, and venue/IT setup. Support preparation of study materials.
