Job summary

TEMP-TEAM PTE LTD is seeking a Temp Accounts Assistant for a 3-month assignment at our Cantonment Road office in Singapore. Working hours are typically 8.30am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, with duties spanning accounts payable, accounts receivable, and daily bookkeeping tasks.

The ideal candidate will hold a Diploma in Accounting and have at least 3 years of accounting/finance experience, ready to support month-end close and financial record-keeping in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting/finance roles.

Responsibilities

• Verify expenses and payments and allocate transactions to accounts.
• Check invoices and prepare supporting documents for payments/receipts.
• Prepare payment vouchers and maintain accurate Accounts Payable records.
• Prepare and issue invoices to customers.
• Monitor customer and agent payments and follow up on outstanding balances.
• Prepare, update and maintain Accounts Receivable records.
• Maintain cash book records and perform bank reconciliations.
• Post accounting entries using accounting software.
• File and maintain records of all financial transactions and supporting documents.
• Carry out other accounting/administrative duties as assigned.
