Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a Finance Assistant on a 2.5‑month contract to support invoicing, payments and month‑end activities. The role offers practical exposure to accounts payable/receivable and data entry within a busy finance team.

Based at Jalan Pesawat with transport provided to Lakeside or CCK, the position requires a Diploma or higher in Accounting/Finance and proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook. Mon–Fri work hours, 8:30–17:30, on-site.

Qualifications

• Min Diploma or equivalent in Accounting/Finance/Business Administration or related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and finance processes.
• Prior experience in finance, accounting or administrative role is an advantage.
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable and invoice processing preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with processing supplier invoices, payment documents and staff claims.
• Verify invoices and supporting documents for completeness, accuracy and proper approval.
• Match invoices against purchase orders, delivery orders and goods receipt records.
• Perform data entry and update financial transactions in the accounting/ERP system.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliation.
• Prepare payment vouchers, journal entries and other finance-related documents.
• Monitor outstanding documents and follow up with internal departments or suppliers.
• Assist with filing, scanning and maintaining records of invoices and payments.
• Support month-end closing activities, including schedules and reconciliation reports.
• Assist with bank, supplier and intercompany reconciliations as required.
• Support GST documentation and audit-related requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audit document requests.
• Perform general administrative duties for the Finance Department.
• Undertake other finance-related duties as assigned by supervisor.
