DARA PEOPLE LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior ICT / Telecom Technical Lead for a data centre project. The role focuses on reviewing ICT designs, resolving technical RFIs, and coordinating interfaces across engineering disciplines to ensure integrated ICT requirements.

You will sit at the intersection of telecom, security, controls and core building services, addressing issues early to prevent blockers and supporting converged network integration.

• Contribute to ICT specifications, design standards and technical documentation.
• Support telecom quantity take-off and design-review activities using Revit / ACC / BIM360 where required.

ICT / Telecom Technical Lead – Data Centre

Location: Singapore – fully on-site

Employment: Permanent

Salary: Competitive / dependent on experience

Senior ICT / Telecom design professional wanted for a complex owner-side data centre programme in Singapore. You’ll review ICT designs, resolve technical RFIs, coordinate interfaces across engineering disciplines and support converged network integration.

RCDD certification is welcomed, but candidates currently working under the technical oversight of an RCDD-certified professional will also be considered.

You’ll sit at the point where telecom, security, controls and core building services meet — resolving issues before they become programme blockers.

About the role

The role centres on reviewing designs, resolving technical issues, coordinating interfaces between disciplines and ensuring ICT requirements are properly integrated into the wider facility design. It is not a cost-management or BIM-production position.

The focus is on design assurance, cross-discipline coordination, technical issue resolution and converged network integration rather than cost management or BIM model production.

Requirements

• Strong ICT / Telecom design, engineering or technical delivery experience.
• Good knowledge of structured cabling, telecom infrastructure and converged network environments.
• Experience reviewing designs, responding to RFIs and resolving technical issues.
• Experience coordinating ICT requirements with other engineering disciplines.
• Confidence working with consultants, contractors, AEC teams and technical stakeholders.
• Either RCDD certified or currently working under the technical oversight of an RCDD-certified professional.

Highly relevant but not essential

Experience in data centres, hyperscale facilities, mission-critical infrastructure or other technically complex developments would be particularly useful.

Exposure to Revit, ACC/BIM360, ICT specifications, telecom quantity take-offs or owner-side design assurance would also be advantageous.

Candidates may come from ICT consultancies, MEP engineering firms, structured cabling specialists, technology design consultancies, data centre engineering organisations or owner-side infrastructure teams.
