Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma or Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, or closely related field.
• Basic programming or scripting in Python, JavaScript, or similar language.
• Foundational understanding of RESTful APIs, relational databases, data processing pipelines, or software integration principles.
• Strong analytical mindset, troubleshooting abilities, and clear communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Prior exposure to vehicle telematics, IoT devices, fleet systems, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), or data visualization tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Technology Implementation: Support configuration, testing, and deployment of customized tech solutions for Singapore customers and fleet operations.
• Systems & Partner Coordination: Work with vendors, sales agencies, and partners to coordinate integrations and resolve roadblocks.
• Trial & Telematics Support: Assist with GPS tracking, telematics, SOC monitoring, odometer, and real-time dashboards during trials.
• Data & Reporting: Collect, clean, and analyze trial datasets for internal reviews and executive presentations.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain API integration records, issue logs, and SOPs for implementation workflows.
• Autonomous Ownership: Identify bottlenecks and deliver projects with minimal supervision.

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and tech-savvy Part-Time Technology Intern to support the core technology and operational infrastructure for Kargo's Singapore market launch. In this role, you will work hands-on across active customer trials, data pipelines, system integrations, and software implementations. Collaborating closely with internal engineering teams, external technology vendors, and strategic partners, you will help build scalable local operations from the ground up. This position is ideal for an independent problem-solver eager to take ownership of meaningful technical deliverables in an early-stage market.

Key Responsibilities

• Technology Implementation: Support the configuration, rigorous testing, and deployment of customized technology solutions for Singapore enterprise customers and fleet operations.
• Systems & Partner Coordination: Collaborate directly with technology vendors, sales agencies, and implementation partners to coordinate integrations, resolve technical roadblocks, and maintain project momentum.
• Trial & Telematics Support: Assist with active trial requirements involving GPS tracking, vehicle telematics, battery state of charge (SOC) monitoring, odometer tracking, and real-time operational dashboards.
• Data & Reporting: Collect, clean, and analyze complex trial datasets to drive internal reviews, executive customer presentations, and data-backed operational decisions.
• Technical Documentation: Maintain thorough technical notes, API integration records, issue logs, and repeatable standard operating procedures for implementation workflows.
• Autonomous Ownership: Proactively identify operational bottlenecks, propose practical technical improvements, and deliver assigned projects with minimal supervision.

Candidate Requirements

• Academic Background: Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a closely related discipline.
• Programming Skills: Basic programming, scripting, or automation ability in Python, JavaScript, or a comparable language.
• Technical Familiarity: Foundational understanding of RESTful APIs, relational databases, data processing pipelines, or software integration principles.
• Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong analytical mindset, rigorous troubleshooting capabilities, and clear communication skills.
• Independent Execution: Proven ability to work independently, manage competing priorities effectively, and collaborate smoothly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Preferred Exposure: Prior exposure or hands-on projects involving vehicle telematics, IoT devices, fleet management systems, cloud platforms (AWS/GCP), or data visualization tools.
