Job summary

Nanyang Technological University (NTU) invites applications for a senior finance professional to lead the CIO Office's IT budgeting, forecasting and governance. You will drive annual technology budgets, provide financial insight for major IT investments and coordinate with senior leaders across NTU to ensure robust financial controls.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and at least eight years in finance, with experience in budgets, controls and executive reporting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in relevant fields.
At least 8 years of experience in finance with ownership of budgets, controls and reporting.
Experience supervising staff.
Strong analytical judgement, stakeholder-management skills and executive communication.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in an unstructured environment.

Responsibilities

Lead yearly financial planning, forecasting, budget consolidation and reporting across IT teams.
Provide monthly budget reporting with trend analysis to CIO Office Management.
Ensure IT financial transactions and assets are audit-ready and compliant with NTU policies.
Lead IT procurement planning and governance with procurement and business owners to manage sourcing, contracts and renewals.
Develop IT competency matrix, skills-gap analysis and learning roadmap; support role/organisation design and dashboards for resources.
Supervise staff and contribute to governance improvements in the CIO Office.
