Job summary

NTU, the Centre for IT Services CIO Office, seeks an experienced finance professional to oversee technology budgets and provide strategic financial insight for technology investments. You will work with the CIO Office and senior leaders across NTU to ensure sound governance and budgeting.

The role focuses on capital and operating budgets, procurement planning, and workforce capability analytics, reporting to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related discipline (Finance, IT, Business) and professional experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities; executive communication skills.
• Proven experience supervising staff and managing multi-year budgets.

Responsibilities

• Lead yearly financial planning, forecasting, budget consolidation across IT units.
• Provide monthly budget reporting with trend analysis to CIO Office management.
• Establish controls ensuring IT financial transactions and assets align with NTU policies.
• Guide procurement planning and governance, coordinating sourcing timelines and renewals.
• Develop IT competency matrix and learning roadmap with workforce dashboards.
• Supervise staff and contribute to governance improvements.
