Job summary

NTU is seeking a Senior Assistant Manager in Financial Planning & Analysis to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial governance. The role emphasizes structured analysis, operational visibility, and risk identification to strengthen financial performance.

The position collaborates with senior leadership to monitor revenue completeness, ensure regulatory compliance, and enable informed decision-making across the university.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy/Finance or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Chartered Accountant with at least 8 years of relevant experience.
• Highly adaptable, good time management skills & problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate outstanding working relation management.
• Advantageous to know SAP, Ariba, Denodo, Workday, PowerBI.

Responsibilities

• Manage financial planning, budgeting and forecasting.
• Drive financial analysis, performance evaluation, pricing and margin review.
• Oversee finance governance and financial controls.
• Perform policy impact assessments and communicate implications of policy/system changes.
• Ensure compliance with financial, regulatory and audit requirements.
• Provide insightful KPI and performance reporting for management.
• Support continuous improvement and provide oversight to finance staff.
