Richemont requires a Technology Business Manager to bridge business and Technology & Operations, coordinating budgets, vendor relations, and strategic IT alignment across regional and global standards.

The role focuses on tangible IT solutions, governance, and value delivery while engaging stakeholders at all levels and driving initiatives from planning to delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or related fields.
• Minimum of 5 years progressive experience in technology roles, including IT management, business operations, or tech project leadership.
• Good understanding and practical experience with current and emerging technologies, including but not limited to cloud computing (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, advanced data analytics, enterprise architecture principles, and cybersecurity fundamentals, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a leadership context.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure, workplace technologies, ticketing systems, and service delivery processes.
• Ability to demonstrate a proven track record of working with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
• Collaborative mindset.

Main Purpose of the Role

The Technology Business Manager role serves as a key bridge between business functions and the Technology & Operations team. Core duties include financial budgeting, vendor management and strategic IT alignment. This position focuses on enabling business needs through effective coordination, requirement gathering, operational technology improvements and supporting the delivery of infrastructure and service initiatives.

This role supports business units with practical, reliable, and timely IT solutions while ensuring alignment with regional and global technology standards.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Technology Support & Coordination

• Support the successful execution of infrastructure‑related initiatives (network upgrades, workplace tools rollouts, service enhancements).

• Follow up on incident escalations and recurring issues; work with technical teams to ensure root‑cause resolution.

• Coordinate UAT, deployment planning, and communication for minor enhancements.

• Maintain documentation related to operational processes, service catalogs, guidelines, and workflows.

Governance & Compliance Support

• Contribute to the establishment and refinement of a robust governance framework, ensuring all major technology investments and initiatives align with the overall strategic direction.

• Actively manage the strategic technology project portfolio, contributing significantly to prioritization based on business impact, risk, and resource availability.

• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for strategic technology initiatives, reporting on progress and outcomes to the line manager and relevant stakeholders.

• Collaborate on identifying, evaluating, and strategically managing vendor relationships and partnerships that are crucial for achieving the long‑term technology vision.

Financial Management

• Oversee budgets, track return on investment (ROI), and manage cost optimization for software and hardware investments.

Business Partnership and Stakeholder management

• Build strong working relationships with business users, understanding their operational needs and working with a solutions focused mindset to provide a resolution.

• Understand day-to-day business challenges, processes, and needs; translate them into clear IT requirements or service requests.

• Assist in developing business cases and documentation for small to medium-scale infrastructure or service enhancements.
