Job summary

NM3 Tech (S) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a reliable Technician cum Driver in Singapore to support both field maintenance and indoor technical work across environmental monitoring systems.

You will install, inspect, and service outdoor equipment at client sites, assist with IoT device setup and testing, and provide technical support in indoor settings. The role requires a valid Class 3 license and hands-on EE/ME experience.

Qualifications

• ITE qualification or higher in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electronics or related field.
• Hands-on experience in electrical and/or mechanical engineering is strongly preferred.
• Experience as a technician or in a practical technical role.
• Valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence with clean record and ≥2 years driving experience.
• Willingness to learn about IoT devices and monitoring platforms.
• Willingness to outdoor maintenance and indoor technical support.
• Good practical troubleshooting skills; able to read manuals, schematics and drawings.
• Able to communicate in English; Mandarin an advantage.
• Able to work independently, manage time and meet deadlines.
• Physically fit to handle tools and work safely.
• Reliable and committed to safety and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Provide indoor technical support, including equipment assembly, testing, preparation and basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
• Support the setup and testing of IoT connected devices, communication modules, sensors and monitoring systems after training.
• Conduct site assessments, identify technical issues and carry out practical corrective actions.
• Complete service reports and maintenance records accurately and promptly.
• Respond to service calls and urgent requests within agreed timeframes.
• Drive the company vehicle and transport staff, tools and equipment safely to project and client sites.
• Communicate clearly with clients and provide progress updates during service work.
• Follow all applicable workplace safety, health and environmental requirements.

About the role

NM3 Tech (S) Pte. Ltd. develops, supplies and maintains environmental monitoring systems, including automatic water samplers, online water quality sensors and IoT-enabled monitoring platforms. We support public agencies, utilities, engineering partners and industrial clients in Singapore. We are looking for a reliable Technician cum Driver to support both field maintenance and indoor technical work.

Key responsibilities

• Perform outdoor installation, inspection, preventive maintenance, diagnostics and repairs on environmental monitoring equipment at client sites.

• Provide indoor technical support, including equipment assembly, testing, preparation and basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.

What we're looking for

• An ITE qualification, equivalent technical qualification or higher in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electronics or a related field.

• Applicants with hands-on work experience in electrical engineering (EE) and/or mechanical engineering (ME) are strongly preferred.

• Experience as a technician or in a similar practical technical role.

• A valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence, a clean driving record and at least two years of driving experience.

• Willingness to learn about IoT devices, sensors, communications and monitoring platforms.

• Willingness to carry out outdoor maintenance and site work as well as indoor technical support.

• Good practical troubleshooting skills and the ability to read technical manuals, schematics and drawings.

• Able to communicate effectively in English. Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage because the role may involve coordination with Mandarin-speaking suppliers and technical teams.

• Able to work independently, manage time well and meet service deadlines.

• Physically fit to handle tools and equipment and work safely in different site conditions.

• Reliable and committed to maintaining high standards of safety and service quality.
