Job summary

PERSOL SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking an electro-mechanical assembler to build, repair and test assemblies using work orders, schematics and wiring diagrams. You will follow instructions and maintain quality while meeting timelines.

Ideal candidates hold Nitec / Higher Nitec or a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with relevant internship or academic background. Experience is advantageous; on-site shift roles in Singapore offer opportunities for growth and safety-focused operations.

Qualifications

• Nitec / Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant internship or academic background would be considered.
• Relevant experience in electro-mechanical assembly is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.
• Identify and correct errors and ensure safety, quality and cleanliness of the work area.
• Attend required health and safety training and follow safety policies and procedures.
• Enter data on computer terminal for progress, labor details and parts received.
• Inspect parts for defects and contribute to process improvements.

About the role

Utilizes routine work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists, written and/or verbal instructions to build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components. Performs electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair.

Work Arrangements

• AM Shift (7am to 4.30pm)
• PM Shift (4pm to 1.30am) - $25/shift allowance
• Graveyard Shift (11.30PM to 9AM) - $40/shift allowance
• 12 hour Day Shift (7am - 7pm)
• 12 hour Night Shift (7pm - 7am)
• Different work days

Key responsibilities

• Build, repair and/or test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies and components using work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts and wire lists
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly operations, troubleshooting and repair
• Identify and correct errors
• Observe all safety standards and maintain a secure, safe, clean and healthy work environment
• Attend required health and safety training and follow safety and security policies, procedures and practices
• Promptly report accidents, injuries, safety hazards, or emergencies to supervisor or Safety dept
• Utilize test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and/or vacuum pumps to test assemblies, subassemblies and components
• Enter data on computer terminal, such as progress, work expense and labor details
• Perform computer programming, repair or software installs
• Detail finished work, receive parts and perform audits to ensure all necessary parts are available
• Inspect parts for defects and troubleshoot and improve processes

About you
