Job summary

YTL PowerSeraya Pte. Limited seeks an operations professional to lead fuel transfer activities and coordinate with vessel captains, ensuring compliance with Safe System of Work and WSH Act.

You will manage terminal operations including berthing, ullaging, line-up, and pump runs, while preparing documentation after each transfer and supporting quality checks with surveyors. Ideal candidate has 2–3 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and flexibility to work

Qualifications

• Nitec or Diploma in Engineering is required.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical, communication and management skills.
• Familiar with mandatory statutory regulations.
• Comfortable with shift hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead fuel transfers and liaise with vessel captain per Safe System of Work and WSH Act.
• Oversee terminal operations: berthing, conferencing, ullaging, line-up, pumps and equipment.
• Prepare post-operation documents (Bill of Lading, Certificate of Quantity).
• Coordinate with surveyor for tank sounding and oil sampling.
• Investigate and report equipment defects and abnormalities.
• Ensure safety of all stakeholders during operations.

Job description

• Lead and perform operations such as fuel transfers and liaising with external stakeholders such as vessel's captain in accordance with Safe System of Work and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act
• Lead in terminal operational activities e.g. vessel berthing, conferencing, ship / shore tanks ullaging, shore system line-up, running of pumps and equipment, etc
• Prepare documentation after each loading, discharging or inter-tank transfer operation such as Bill of Lading, Certificate of Quantity, etc
• Work closely with surveyor to carry out tank sounding and taking of oil samples for quality analysis
• Promptly investigate and report equipment defects, deficiencies and abnormalities
• Ensure safety of all stakeholders during an operations

Qualification

• Nitec or Diploma in Engineering
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience
• Self-motivated, independent and has strong analytical, communication and management skills
• Understand mandatory statutory regulations
• Comfortable to work shift hours
