Job summary

PetroSeraya Pte. Ltd., the physical oil trading and tank leasing arm of the YTL PowerSeraya Group, seeks an Operations Lead to oversee fuel transfer operations, vessel coordination, and tank activities in Singapore.

You will liaise with vessel captains, ensure compliance with WSH Act, and document loading operations while maintaining safety and efficiency on site. Shift-friendly role requiring strong analytical and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Nitec or Diploma in Engineering is required.
• 2-3 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong analytical, communication and management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform operations such as fuel transfers and liaising with external stakeholders such as vessel's captain in accordance with Safe System of Work and Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) Act
• Lead in terminal operational activities e.g. vessel berthing, conferencing, ship / shore tanks ullaging, shore system line-up, running of pumps and equipment, etc
• Prepare documentation after each loading, discharging or inter-tank transfer operation such as Bill of Lading, Certificate of Quantity, etc
• Work closely with surveyor to carry out tank sounding and taking of oil samples for quality analysis
• Promptly investigate and report equipment defects, deficiencies and abnormalities
• Ensure safety of all stakeholders during an operations

PetroSeraya Pte. Ltd is the physical oil trading and tank leasing arm of the YTL PowerSeraya Group. Its establishment on 2 April 2007 marks the Group's strategic move to optimise its fuel management assets.

As YTL PowerSeraya's subsidiary, it plays a key role in managing the Group's fuel purchases which constitutes part of the power generation cost. Through direct sourcing and its bulk purchases, it is more likely to secure better prices and achieve greater economies of scale.
