Job summary

PetroSeraya Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Technician / Technical Officer to lead terminal operations, oversee fuel transfers, vessel berthing, and tank ullaging, ensuring Safe System of Work and WSH compliance.

You will work onsite with engineers and surveyors, prepare loading/discharge documentation, monitor equipment, and report defects while maintaining safety for all stakeholders. The ideal candidate holds Nitec or Diploma in Engineering with 2–3 years’ experience, strong analytical

Qualifications

Nitec or Diploma in Engineering as educational qualification.
2-3 years of relevant work experience.
Self-motivated, independent and has strong analytical, communication and management skills.
Understand mandatory statutory regulations.

Responsibilities

Lead and perform operations such as fuel transfers and liaising with vessel captains in accordance with Safe System of Work and WSH Act.
Lead terminal operational activities including vessel berthing, conferencing, ship/shore tank ullaging, shore system line-up, and running pumps and equipment.
Prepare documentation after each loading, discharging or inter-tank transfer operation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Certificate of Quantity).
Work with surveyors to carry out tank sounding and oil sampling for quality analysis.
Investigate and report equipment defects and abnormalities; ensure safety of all stakeholders during operations.
