Job summary

WSA is seeking a production & engineering professional to support SMT/semi-conductor manufacturing and drive quality improvements. You will perform troubleshooting, process monitoring, and line support to ensure smooth operations across the shop floor.

Responsibilities include executing production buyoff, supporting new processes, and providing training and documentation to manufacturing staff, with an emphasis on continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in production & engineering field.
• Experience in SMT/ Semiconductor industry or other related manufacturing industry.
• Able to read & understand 2D / 3D drawing & electrical circuit diagram.
• Good trouble-shooting or diagnostic skills.

• Perform trouble shooting and analysis on internal / external product quality issue and work with engineers on corrective/preventive actions.
• Provide daily task report.
• Support projects (SMART LEAN / CIP continuous improvement projects), trial run and cost saving evaluation.
• Identify and monitor production process / machine parameters.
• Ensuring process checklist / logbooks are maintained.
• Support new process set up ( NPI ).
• Assist process documentation / Work Instruction and provide training to manufacturing personnel
• Able to do measurement for the 2nd source component trial run
