Job summary

WS Audiology in Singapore is seeking a production and engineering professional to support SMT manufacturing, perform production buyoffs, troubleshoot quality issues, and assist with new process setup.

The role focuses on shop floor support, data collection, process documentation, and training manufacturing personnel to maintain high quality and cost savings initiatives.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in production/engineering within SMT or related manufacturing.
• Ability to read 2D/3D drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Hands-on SMT knowledge with troubleshooting capability.

Responsibilities

• Execute production buyoff procedure and shop floor line support.
• Perform troubleshooting and analysis on quality issues with engineers.
• Provide daily task reports and support continuous improvement projects.
• Identify and monitor production process/machine parameters.
• Assist with new process setup (NPI) and document work instructions.
• Train manufacturing personnel and perform 2nd source component trials.

What you will do

• Execute production buyoff procedure and shop floor line support.




• Perform trouble shooting and analysis on internal / External product quality issue and work with engineers on corrective/preventive actions.




• Provide daily task report.




• Support projects ( SMART LEAN / CIP continuous improvement projects ) , trial run and cost saving evaluation.




• Identify and monitor production process / machine parameters.




• Ensuring process checklist / logbooks are maintained.




• Support new process set up ( NPI ).




• Assist process documentation / Work Instruction and provide training to manufacturing personnel




• Able to do measurement for the 2nd source component trial run.

What you bring

Experience

• 2 - 3 years’ experience in production & engineering field




• Experienced in SMT industry or other other related manufacturing industry




• Experienced in Gas Coating Process or any related PCB coating internment.




• Good technical skill with hands on knowledge in SMT machines




• Able to perform measurement like caliper or digital microscope.




• Personal competencies




• Able to read & understand 2D / 3D drawing & electrical circuit diagram




• Good trouble-shooting or diagnostic skills on printed circuit board (PCBA)
