Job summary

WSA – Wonderful Sound for All in Singapore is seeking a production/engineering professional to join our manufacturing team. You will support production lines, perform quality issue analyses, and collaborate with engineers on corrective actions.

You’ll help with process documentation and training, and contribute to NPIs and cost-saving initiatives. Applicants should have hands-on SMT experience, strong measurement and reading of drawings, and the ability to work independently with accuracy.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in production & engineering field.
• Experience in SMT industry or related manufacturing industry.
• Experience in Gas Coating Process or PCB coating equipment.
• Hands-on SMT machine knowledge and measurement skills.
• Able to read 2D/3D drawings and electrical circuit diagrams.
• Good troubleshooting and PCBA diagnostic skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Execute production buyoff procedure and shop floor line support.
• Troubleshoot and analyze core product quality issues with engineers on corrective actions.
• Provide daily task reports to supervisors.
• Support projects (SMART LEAN / CIP) and cost-saving evaluations.
• Identify and monitor production process and machine parameters.
• Maintain process checklists and logbooks.
• Support new process setup (NPI).
• Assist with process documentation and work instructions; train manufacturing personnel.
• Perform measurements for second-source component trial runs.

What you will do

• Execute production buyoff procedure and shop floor line support
• Perform trouble shooting and analysis on internal / External product quality issue and work with engineers on corrective/preventive actions
• Provide daily task report
• Support projects (SMART LEAN / CIP continuous improvement projects), trial run and cost saving evaluation
• Identify and monitor production process / machine parameters
• Ensuring process checklist / logbooks are maintained
• Support new process set up (NPI)
• Assist process documentation / Work Instruction and provide training to manufacturing personnel
• Able to do measurement for the 2nd source component trial run.

What you bring

Experience

• 2 - 3 years’ experience in production & engineering field
• Experienced in SMT industry or other related manufacturing industry
• Experienced in Gas Coating Process or any related PCB coating internment
• Good technical skill with hands on knowledge in SMT machines
• Able to perform measurement like caliper or digital microscope
• Able to read & understand 2D / 3D drawing & electrical circuit diagram
• Good trouble-shooting or diagnostic skills on printed circuit board (PCBA).
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently
• Good organizational skills.
