Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Singapore is seeking a Technician to ensure reliability and efficiency of production and test equipment on the manufacturing line. You will troubleshoot breakdowns, support test cell setup, perform preventative maintenance and calibrations, and restore equipment to optimal condition.

The role requires a Diploma in Electrical/ Electronics/ Manufacturing or Mechatronics, 3–5 years’ experience, and a willingness to work 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Manufacturing, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience maintaining and supporting Final Test Equipment.
• Proficient with MS Office applications.

• 24-month contractual engagement.

Responsibilities

The Technician is responsible for ensuring the operational reliability and efficiency of production and test equipment within the manufacturing line. This role involves troubleshooting equipment breakdowns, supporting test cell setup, performing preventive maintenance and calibration activities, and restoring equipment to optimal working condition.Your roleKey responsibilities in your new roleTroubleshoot and resolve production equipment breakdowns to minimize downtime.Diagnose and rectify test cell setup issues to ensure smooth production operations.Perform line equipment check and carry out equipment restoration.Carry out equipment kit conversions to support production changeovers.Conduct preventive maintenance (PM) on testers and related equipment.Perform monthly tester calibration to ensure equipment accuracy and reliability.Provide operators with basic troubleshooting guidance and technical support.Participate in Green Line and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and equipment performance.Your profileQualifications and skills to help you succeedMin. Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Manufacturing, or Mechatronics Engineering, or equivalent qualification.Min. 3 to 5 years of experience in maintaining and supporting Final Test Equipment.Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.Ability to work 12-hour shifts (day or night, based on operational requirements).Commit 24 months contract (with potential renewal).Other details:Working hours: (7am to 7pm / 7pm to 7am) - 12 hours shift.
