Job summary

Infineon Technologies in Singapore is seeking a Senior Staff Supervisor to lead shopfloor operations excellence, overseeing daily shift production, quality, safety and delivery targets. You will coordinate with Engineering, Planning and Management teams to optimize manpower deployment, resolve production issues, and drive continuous improvement, including automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Approximately 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in Semiconductor Backend Manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with Final Test Equipment and manufacturing operations.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (MS Office) applications.
• Willingness and ability to perform 12-hour rotating shifts (Day or Night Shift).
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.

• Coordinate shopfloor activities with Engineering, Planning, and Operations to resolve issues.

• Serve as interface between senior management and operations, ensuring clear communication.
• Support audit readiness, 5S compliance, and safety standards.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Lead and oversee daily shift production operations, ensuring achievement of output, quality, safety, and delivery targets.
• Manage manpower planning and deployment, ensuring adequate coverage, attendance management, and workforce productivity.
• Coordinate shopfloor activities and collaborate with Engineering, Planning, and Operations teams to resolve production issues and meet business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment performance, operational efficiency, yield, and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
• Coach, mentor, and motivate team members while supporting operator competency development, certification, and performance improvement programs.
• Serve as the key interface between senior management and operational teams, ensuring effective communication and execution of business priorities.
• Support audit readiness, 5S compliance, and safety standards, maintaining a well-organized and efficient manufacturing environment.
• Lead and support automation projects and complex operational initiatives, providing analysis, problem-solving, and timely escalation of critical production issues.

Your profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
