What You Will Do
- Day‑to‑day operations of the MRT team and provide MRT support to customers in the Asia Pacific region, including events administration and export‑control clearance checks.
- Perform and certify maintenance tasks, repairs, and defect rectifications on Pratt & Whitney Canada (P&WC) engine series in accordance with approved maintenance procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain the highest standards of airworthiness during inspections and maintenance tasks.
- Coordinate with Engine Programs, Field Support Managers (FSMs) and Customer First (CFirst) to provide on‑site maintenance support and achieve minimum engine downtime.
- Manage customer situations through technical expertise, professional communication and responsive support to enhance confidence in P&W products and services.
- Liaise with customers to plan and coordinate maintenance schedules, define MRT work scopes, and facilitate commercial and payment arrangements.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams—Procurement, Logistics, Operations, Engineering and Quality—to ensure successful deployment and completion of MRT events.
- Travel frequently, often on short notice, to customer facilities across the region for on‑site engine maintenance and technical support.
- Provide in‑shop support as assigned.
- Support engine field recommendations/ troubleshoot queries from customer/FSM/CRM cases.
- Work in accordance with accepted safe and environmental practices, report unsafe conditions, and make safety suggestions.
Qualifications
- CAAS B11, B13, C14, C15, M10/L11/L12 certification or equivalent is required.
- Diploma in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 5years of aviation experience, with hands‑on experience in gas‑turbine engines.
- Knowledge of gas‑turbine engine construction.
- Experience troubleshooting service‑related problems encountered during operation of P&W engines.
- Ability to interpret technical standards, drawings, specifications and other documentation to identify product discrepancies and deficiencies.
- Professional team player with a positive, adaptable attitude, self‑motivated and able to work independently.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to engage and collaborate with external customers and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to travel internationally at short notice and for extended periods to provide on‑site customer support.
- Flexibility to work shifts as operational needs dictate.
- Multi‑tasking abilities with strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to quality.
- Experience with P&W engine models is an added advantage.
