Job summary

Search Index Pte Ltd invites applications for a Technician with engineering background in Singapore. The role involves applying aluminum tape to aerospace components, coordinating with Laser Engineers and Quality Inspectors to process parts, and assisting in receiving, inspecting, and shipping finished items.

Training will be provided for candidates with no prior experience, and a diploma or Nitec in Engineering is preferred.

Qualifications

• Possess a Diploma / Nitec in Engineering.
• Possess some technical experience.
• No experience are welcome to apply and training will be provided.
• Good communications and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work rotating shift (morning, noon & night shift).

Responsibilities

• Apply aluminum tape to aerospace components.
• Remove and clean the components using abrasives and chemical.
• Work with Laser Engineers and Quality Inspectors to process customer's part.
• Assist in receiving, inspecting and shipping of newly received and finish processed parts.
• Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the equipment.
• Control and perform preventive maintenance routines.
• Manual loading and unloading of critical aerospace component.
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and maintained in accordance with process control standards.
• Read and interpret technical documentation, including work instructions, data cards, and KPIs.

Other Information:

• Mon - Fri (7am - 4:30pm / 4.30pm - 2am / 10pm - 7.30am) (Biweekly Rotation)

• Salary: $2300 + $300 - $400/mth Shift Allowance + OT + AWS + VB

• Seletar Aerospace (Transport provided)
