Job summary

SEARCH INDEX PTE. LTD. is seeking a Technician with a Diploma / Nitec in Engineering to support aerospace component processing. No prior experience is required as training will be provided.

You will work with Laser Engineers and Quality Inspectors to process customer parts and ensure accurate documentation. Shifts are rotating Mon to Fri (7am–4:30pm / 4:30pm–2am / 10pm–7:30am) on biweekly rotation. Salary starts at SGD 2,300 plus SGD 300–400 shift allowance, OT, AWS, VB; transport provided by

Qualifications

• Diploma / Nitec in Engineering is required or preferred.
• No experience is required; training will be provided.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Apply aluminum tape to aerospace components.
• Clean and inspect components using abrasives and chemicals.
• Collaborate with Laser Engineers and Quality Inspectors on parts.
• Receive, inspect, and ship finished parts.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; perform preventive maintenance.
• Perform manual loading/unloading of aerospace components.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and aligned with process controls.
• Read technical docs, work instructions, data cards, and KPIs.

Job Scope:

• Apply aluminum tape to aerospace components
• Remove and clean the components using abrasives and chemical
• Work with Laser Engineers and Quality Inspectors to process customer's part
• Assist in receiving, inspecting and shipping of newly received and finish processed parts
• Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the equipment
• Control and perform preventive maintenance routines
• Manual loading and unloading of critical aerospace component
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and maintained in accordance with process control standards
• Read and interpret technical documentation, including work instructions, data cards, and KPIs

Requirements:

• Possess a Diploma / Nitec in Engineering
• Possess some technical experiences
• No experience are welcome to apply and training will be provided
• Good communications and interpersonal skills
• Able to work rotating shift (morning, noon & night shift)
