Job summary

SEARCH INDEX PTE. LTD. is hiring a Technician with diploma or Nitec in Engineering to support aerospace component processing. Training will be provided and no prior experience is required.

The role involves applying tape, cleaning parts, working with laser engineers and quality inspectors, and handling receiving, inspection, and shipping tasks. You will perform routine maintenance and read a variety of technical documents, with biweekly rotating shifts.

Qualifications

• Possess a Diploma / Nitec in Engineering.
• Possess some technical experience and ability to learn.
• Good communications and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work rotating shift including morning, noon and night.

Responsibilities

• Apply aluminum tape to aerospace components.
• Remove and clean components using abrasives and chemicals.
• Collaborate with Laser Engineers and Quality Inspectors to process customer parts.
• Assist in receiving, inspecting and shipping of parts.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Conduct preventive maintenance routines.
• Handle manual loading/unloading of aerospace components.
• Ensure documentation is accurate and maintains process control records.
• Read and interpret technical documents, work instructions, data cards and KPIs.

Job Scope

• Apply aluminum tape to aerospace components
• Remove and clean the components using abrasives and chemical
• Work with Laser Engineers and Quality Inspectors to process customer's part
• Assist in receiving, inspecting and shipping of newly received and finish processed parts
• Routine maintenance and troubleshooting of the equipment
• Control and perform preventive maintenance routines
• Manual loading and unloading of critical aerospace component
• Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and maintained in accordance with process control standards
• Read and interpret technical documentation, including work instructions, data cards, and KPIs

Requirements

• Possess a Diploma / Nitec in Engineering
• Possess some technical experience

Other Information

• Mon - Fri (7am - 4:30pm / 4.30pm - 2am / 10pm - 7.30am) (Biweekly Rotation)
• Salary: $2300 + $300 - $400/mth Shift Allowance + OT + AWS + VB
• Seletar Aerospace (Transport provided)
