Job summary

HITACHI ELEVATOR ASIA PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure equipment operates safely and reliably through planned preventive and immediate corrective maintenance.

You will follow safety protocols, keep tools in good order, and report to supervisors. The role includes inspections required by law and maintaining accurate maintenance records while supporting QA and environmental policies.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on equipment according to the schedule.
• Carry out corrective maintenance as required to keep systems functioning safely.
• Observe and follow safety work procedures at all times.
• Keep tools properly organized and maintained for use.
• Maintain records of works carried out in the relevant reports.

To perform preventive and corrective maintenance works on equipment to ensure equipment can function/operate properly and safely.

Job Responsibilities:

• 1. Carry out preventive maintenance works in accordance to the schedule.
• 2. Carry out corrective maintenance works as when required.
• 3. Observe safety work procedures.
• 4. Ensure that tools provided are properly kept and used.
• 5. Observe proper behavior while working.
• 6. Perform standby works when required.
• 7. Follow-up on breakdown report and assist Standby Section where required.
• 8. Report to the superior on all matters relating to the section.
• 9. Carry out any other duties as assigned by superior.
• 10. To keep proper records of works carried out in the relevant reports.
• 11. Attend to the building or equipment inspection as required, by law (BCA, FSB).
• 12. Assist in conducting and investigation of damages/accidents to equipment or personnel.
• 13. Follow-up on QA defects.
• 14. Ensure compliance to Environmental Policy, reduction of waste and prevention of pollution.
• 15. Perform maintenance work under supervision.
