Job summary

dnata Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Maintenance Technician I/II to service, inspect, repair and maintain equipment, plant and facilities on site in Singapore. The role requires coordinating PM programs, guiding on-shift technicians, and ensuring minimal downtime.

The candidate should have a Vocational/ITE certificate in Building Maintenance, experience in related maintenance tasks, and a valid LTA Class 3 driving license. This position involves safety compliance and ad-hoc duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Vocational/ITE certificate or equivalent in Building Maintenance.
• Experience in servicing, inspection, repair and maintenance of equipment, plant and facilities will be an added advantage.
• Must possess minimum LTA class 3 driving license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate servicing, inspection, repair and maintenance of equipment, plant, and facilities to ensure minimum downtime.
• Plan and organize Weekly and Daily Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program.
• Responsible for the performance and discipline of the technicians on shift duty.
• Coordinate minor and major repairs, replacement & overhaul of equipment, plant, and facilities at component & system level, to ensure minimum disruption to operations.
• Ensure quick response to trouble-shoot, rectify, and re-activate equipment, plant, and facilities. If unable, to organize recovery to workshop to repair, rectify and make good, and put back into operation with minimum delays and downtime.
• Verify the accuracy of computer daily job sheets and time keeping.
• Monitor and review work methods, conditions, and housekeeping to ensure safe working environment.
• Verify and ensure workshop equipment are maintained in good working condition.
• Verify parts for replacement are beyond economic repair (BER) and cannot be reconditioned.
• Any other duties as assigned
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedure.
