The role involves machine setup, process control, dimensional inspection, and quality verification, with focus on maintaining equipment reliability, 5S standards, and manufacturing efficiency in a precision engineering environment.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Experience with precision measurement and inspection tools.
• Attention to surface finish and geometric tolerances.
• Strong focus on quality and process control.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate surface and cylindrical grinding machines (ID & OD).
• Interpret drawings, GD&T, and process sheets to meet dimensional requirements.
• Select grinding wheels, dressing tools, and parameters (speed, feed, depth of cut).
• Perform wheel dressing, balancing, and machine alignment checks.
• Achieve precise tolerances, surface finishes, and geometric accuracy.
• Inspect components using micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, bore gauges, and surface roughness testers.
• Troubleshoot issues such as burn marks, chatter, taper, wheel loading, and poor finish.
• Maintain machine cleanliness, perform basic preventive maintenance, and follow 5S standards.
