Job summary

Excelitas Technologies in Singapore seeks an Operations professional with hands-on opto-mechanical assembly and testing experience. The role focuses on mechanical, electrical and optical assembly, ESD control, and your ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics.

You will work with a disciplined, team-oriented mindset and help maintain high workmanship standards. The position is Regular Full Time and on-site in Singapore, offering opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• GCE 'N' Level or above with technical certs.
• Min 2 years in opto-mechanical assembly.
• Able to read drawings and schematics.
• Experience with lens assembly and electrical/mechanical troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated discipline and teamwork; able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test optical, mechanical and electrical components.
• Maintain ESD control on assembly areas and sensitive parts.
• Interpret technical drawings and schematics for assembly processes.
• Support continuous improvement with engineering on new products.

Main responsibilities:

• Operations will include, but not limited to:
  
  
  
  • Mechanical, electrical, optical assembly and testing.
  
  
  • ESD (Electro Static Discharge) control on the assembly with ESD sensitive component.
  
  
  • Hands on experience in optical application assembly, alignment and test.
  
  


• Work within Company policies and procedures regarding safety, quality, material control and maintain high levels of workmanship and cleanliness.


• Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending and implementing preventative and corrective measures, working with engineering to introduce new products.


• Highly adaptable approach and willing to transition between department to fulfill evolving business needs.

Requirements:

• GCE 'N' Level, Technical Certicate & above.


• Min 2 years hand on experience in Opto-mechanical assembly.


• Key technical skills include electrical and mechanical troubleshoorting.


• Able to interpret technical drawing and schematic.


• Able to handle lens assembly.


• Discipline, team player and able to work under minimum supervision.


• Comply to QMEHS (Quality, Environment Safety and Health) requirement.
