Job summary

Job description

Overall Job Objectives

Responsible for the efficient maintenance of systems to ensure a high and acceptable maintenance standard.

Job Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot & repair electrical works to ensure functionality, including but not limited to air-conditioning, refrigeration and plumbing


• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance work


• Prepare & submit weekly/monthly maintenance report


• Ensure the maintenance of records and provide weekly/monthly reports on daily activities


• Assist to monitor expenses and control maintenance budget


• Diagnosing potential maintenance issues and highlight to reporting manager proactively


• Liaise internally and externally with contractors, service providers and statutory authorities when necessary


• Respond to emergency calls on critical services and being on standby during off-duty hours, including going onsite for emergency matters


• Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager

Job Specifications

• NITEC or NTC 2/3 certificates in Electrical, Mechanical, Electronic field


• At least 1 year of working experience in the related field; with maintenance experience in plumbing, refrigeration and M&E systems


• Familiar with the use of common hand and power tools to carry out handyman works e.g. painting, carpentry work, part replacements etc.


• Prior experience in a supermarket environment will be an added advantage


• Possess basic computer literacy skills


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Able to work well independently and in teams


• Able to cope and perform in a fast-paced environment
