Job summary

REVUP PROSERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Facilities technician to maintain building services and M&E systems in a commercial setting. You will perform preventive maintenance, conduct inspections, address tenant requests, and coordinate contractors to ensure work meets standards.

You will monitor energy consumption, support EMS/BMS functions, and assist with emergency drills. A related Nitec/JTE qualification and 1+ year experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Min 1 year of experience in Facilities Management or building services.
• Experience in commercial buildings or malls preferred.
• Able to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of building facilities and M&E systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and related systems.
• Attend to tenant feedback and maintenance requests for M&E services.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors to ensure work meets specs and standards.
• Follow up on rectification works and keep management updated.
• Support energy-saving initiatives and monitor utility consumption.
• Assist with emergency procedures, fire drills, and testing.
• Maintain maintenance records, service logs, and spare parts inventory.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of building facilities and M&E systems.
• Conduct routine inspections of air-conditioning, electrical, plumbing, sanitary, fire protection, building automation, and carpark systems.
• Attend to tenant feedback, maintenance requests, and breakdowns related to M&E services.
• Coordinate and supervise contractors to ensure maintenance and repair works are completed according to specifications and required standards.
• Follow up on rectification works, monitor progress, and provide timely updates to the management team.
• Support energy-saving initiatives and monitor utility consumption to improve operational efficiency.
• Assist with emergency response procedures, including fire drills, system shutdowns, and related testing.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, service logs, and spare parts inventory.

Requirements

• Nitec in Electrical, Mechanical, Facilities Technology, Facilities Management, or a related field.
• Higher Nitec or relevant WSQ certification in Facilities or Building Maintenance will be an advantage.
• At least 1 year of experience in Facilities Management, Building Services, or M&E Operations, preferably in a commercial building or shopping mall.
• Hands-on experience in building inspections, basic repairs, and routine maintenance of M&E systems.
• Familiarity with contractor supervision and vendor coordination.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and sanitary systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and equipment manuals.
• Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) and Energy Management Systems (EMS) is an advantage.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel for maintenance reporting and documentation.
