Job summary

Daikin Holdings Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a seasoned Technical Training Engineer to design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs for engineering staff. You will conduct classroom, workshop and hands-on sessions, preparing manuals, SOPs and assessments while tracking trainee progress.

Travel overseas as required to support global projects, collaborate with engineering and operations teams, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards across all training activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• 3–5 years of classroom hands-on technical engineering trainer experience.
• Proficient English communication; foreign language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 3 to 5 years of classroom hands-on technical engineering trainer experience
• Good communication and written skills in English is compulsory.
• Foreign language skills is an advantage such as Spanish, Italian, Chinese.
• Frequent travel overseas is required.
• Domain Expertise: Solid understanding of Building Automation System (BAS), chiller plant control logic, and hardware architectures for automation devices (area controllers and I/O modules).
• Knowledge of technical support and technical testing and commissioning for hardware and software products.
• Knowledge of Niagara Framework, Building Automation, Analytics Technologies and Web technologies.
• Knowledge of instrumentation sensors and field communication protocols, e.g Modbus, BACnet etc.
• Knowledge is programming language such as C++, python is an advantage.
• TCP/IP Networking and protocols knowledge.
