Job summary

IFM Electronic Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a hands-on Electronics/Mechatronics technician. You will support daily failure analysis, set up and operate production equipment, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues to maintain production flow.

The role requires 2 years in electronics assembly, a NITEC or higher, and a strong safety mindset with willingness to work shifts and overtime if needed. Calibration and daily reporting are part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum NITEC in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics or equivalent. Diploma/Bachelor preferred.
• Two years of relevant experience in electronic devices production/assembly environment.
• High technical competence with strong discipline and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Support on daily failure analysis on production rejects.
• Set up, operate production machines and equipment according to instructions and processes.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical problems on production machines.
• Conduct first level troubleshooting of equipment performance and functionality issues.
• Update machine downtime reports on maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, calibration and test procedures on machines & fixtures.
• Update equipment downtime reports on maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Supervise process supervision and conduct verification tests and measurements.
• Support on ESD measurements.
• Support on spare part management.
• Conduct periodic measurements of product cycle time.
• Follow safety guidelines and report unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Participate in workplace safety, 5S and continuous improvement.

• Hands-on troubleshooting of production machine on mechanical and electrical problems

• Conduct first level troubleshooting of equipment performance and functionality issues

• Update machine downtime reports on maintenance and troubleshooting

• Carry out preventive maintenance, calibration and test procedure on machines & fixtures.

Job Requirements

• Minimum NITEC in Electronics/Electrical/Mechatronics or equivalent. Diploma/Bachelor preferred.

• Minimum 2 years relevant working experiences in electronic devices production assembling environment

• High degree of technical competence and creativity and high level of discipline and integrity

• Good team player and able to work with people from different cultures

• Able to perform shift works and overtime (if necessary)
