Job summary

Achieve Group is seeking a Technical Superintendent to oversee vessel operations and ensure technical performance across the fleet. You will manage onshore stakeholders and seafaring crews in a dynamic environment, ensuring regulatory compliance and safety standards are met.

Key duties include planning dry docking projects, budgeting, coordinating with shipyards and vendors, supervising maintenance and repairs, and providing technical guidance to crews to maximise reliability and cost-efficiency.

Qualifications

• CoC Class 1 required.
• Minimum 2 years shore-based experience in a similar role.
• Experience managing at least one full dry-docking project.
• Experience with gas and/or tanker vessels.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical management of vessels, ensuring regulatory and safety compliance.
• Plan and execute dry docking projects with budgeting and scheduling.
• Monitor performance, maintenance, and repair for efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance to crew and onshore stakeholders.
• Engage charterers, classification societies, and service providers.
• Manage technical budgets including spare parts procurement.
• Conduct vessel inspections and audits to uphold safety and performance.
• Ensure adherence to international maritime regulations and best practices.
• Collaborate with internal teams to support fleet operations.
