Job summary

TALENT SPOT GROUP PRIVATE LTD. is seeking a Technical Specialist to act as a regional SME for Copra, FFU, EFU, and Solutions Fan across Southeast Asia.

You will translate customer needs into product specs and roadmap inputs, while supporting market opportunities and ROI analyses. The role also covers development of technical guides, battle cards, and sales enablement materials, with a focus on HVAC, data center, cleanroom, and electronics manufacturing applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in HVAC, Cleanroom, Data Center Cooling, or related industries.
• Technical competencies in EC fans and motor systems, or HVAC systems, with ability to translate requirements into solutions.
• Strong communication, presentation, and analytical skills with a customer-focused mindset.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% across SEA including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Philippines.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the regional subject matter expert for Copra, FFU, EFU, and Solutions Fan in Cleanroom, Data Center, Pharmaceutical, and Electronics Manufacturing applications.
• Develop customer understanding and translate requirements into product specifications and roadmaps.
• Act as Voice of Customer champion by gathering market intelligence and technology trends across Southeast Asia.
• Support Product Management in evaluating business opportunities, market size, and ROI for new products.
• Develop industry guides, white papers, and sales enablement materials.
• Own local product and portfolio management activities across Southeast Asia, including pricing guidance and lifecycle priorities.

TECHNICAL SPECIALIST

Domain Expert & Demand Creation

• Serve as the regional subject matter expert for Copra, FFU, EFU, and Solutions Fan in Cleanroom, Data Center, Pharmaceutical, and Electronics Manufacturing applications.
• Develop deep understanding of customer applications, operating environments, and emerging industry trends, translating customer requirements into product specifications, application recommendations, and future roadmap inputs.
• Act as the Voice of Customer (VOC) champion by gathering market intelligence, application requirements, competitive insights, and technology trends across Southeast Asia.
• Support Product Management in evaluating business opportunities, estimating market size, technical feasibility, and potential return on investment for new products and growth initiatives.
• Develop industry application guides, success stories, technical white papers, competitive battle cards, and sales enablement materials.

Business Development

• Identify, develop, and support strategic growth opportunities with OEMs, EPCs, Design Consultants, Cleanroom Integrators, Data Center Operators, and Key Accounts.
• Build strong relationships with industry stakeholders and influence decision-makers during project design and specification stages.
• Monitor regional investment trends, major projects, customer expansion plans, and competitive activities to identify business opportunities.

Local Product Management

• Own the local product and portfolio management activities for Copra, FFU, EFU, and Solutions Fan across Southeast Asia, including product positioning, target applications, launch readiness, lifecycle priorities, and phase-in/phase-out coordination.
• Develop and maintain regional pricing guidance, value propositions, competitive benchmarks, and product selection tools; support strategic project pricing and margin improvement initiatives in collaboration with Sales, Finance, Sourcing, and Operations.
• Monitor product line performance, key project pipeline, customer feedback, forecast assumptions, and competitive activities; provide regular business reviews and recommend corrective actions to accelerate profitable growth.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in HVAC, Cleanroom, Data Center Cooling, or related industries. Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: Application Engineering, Domain Expertise, Technical Sales, Product Management, or Business Development.
• Technical Competencies: Good understanding of at least one of the following areas: EC fans and motor systems, or HVAC systems, with the ability to translate customer requirements into practical solutions and familiarity with competitor products and the market landscape in Southeast Asia.
• Strong communication, presentation, influencing, analytical and problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused mindset, strong business acumen, and the ability to work independently across Southeast Asia.
• Travel Requirement: Willingness to travel up to 50% across Southeast Asia, including Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Philippines.
