Job summary

Neptune Pacific is seeking a Procurement Coordinator, Technical (Shipping) in Singapore to source vessels stores, consumables and spares on time and within budget. You will analyse vessel consumption and support strategic procurement and contract management for our fleet across the Pacific.

The role requires experience in shipping procurement, a business/ logistics degree, and strong negotiation, data analysis and supplier-management skills.

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset to identify trends and forecast stock.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with crew and offices across the South Pacific.
• Proven ability to develop and apply procurement processes and policies.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and process vessel requisitions.
• Manage RFQ process and negotiate best prices, securing approvals and POs.
• Expedite critical items and resolve disputes with service delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers and port agents for timely delivery onboard vessels.
• Ensure timely delivery and correct documentation to the office.
• Match PO, DO and invoices for timely payments.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies with vendors and finance.
• Maintain fleet records for quick retrieval and audit.
• Conduct supplier qualification and audits.
• Handle projects to improve efficiency and adapt to changes.
• Track landed items and fleet stock across locations.
