The internship is hybrid, with exposure to developing technical and commercial quotations, and collaboration with sales and customers to drive service opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering, Business, or related field.
• Strong interest in technical sales, service operations, business development, and customer solutions within an engineering or industrial environment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate technical and commercial information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and cross-functional teams.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-motivated, eager to learn, and committed to safety, integrity, and professionalism in alignment with ABB’s values.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales team in identifying and developing technically appropriate and cost-effective service solutions by understanding customer requirements and assisting with proposal development.
• Prepare and support the development of technical and commercial quotations, including technical descriptions, solution configurations, documentation, cost calculations, and proposal submissions.
• Analyze customer requirements, market trends, and competitor offerings to support solution positioning, pricing decisions, and business opportunities.
• Assist with proposal tracking and performance analysis, including reviewing lost opportunities, identifying improvement areas, supporting risk assessment activities, and maintaining accurate sales documentation.
