Job summary

Industrial Components Provider in Singapore is seeking a Technical Support (Motion Control) - Assistant Manager to provide advanced motion-control application support to Sales and customers, including product selection, sizing, configuration, tuning, integration and troubleshooting.

You will review customer requirements, support PLC, EtherCAT, motion-controller and servo-drive applications, perform sizing and advise on architecture, assist with parameter setting and tuning, diagnose issues and

Qualifications

Degree in electrical/electronics/mechatronics or related discipline.
Hands-on motion-control or automation experience in factory automation.
Experience with PLCs, EtherCAT, motion controllers, servo systems and automation.
Ability to manage multiple technical cases and communicate recommendations clearly.

Responsibilities

Review customer machine requirements and recommend suitable motion-control products or configurations.
Support PLC, EtherCAT, motion-controller, servo-drive and motor applications.
Perform motion-system, motor and actuator sizing and advise on system architecture.
Support parameter setting, servo tuning, communication setup and integration.
Diagnose motion, communication and performance problems and recommend corrective action.
Conduct product testing, demonstrations and technical evaluations.
Attend customer visits for advanced technical discussions and develop technical references or training.
