Search Personnel Pte Ltd is seeking a Technical Sales Manager for Industrial Lighting / Hazardous Area near Upper Paya Lebar. Lead regional lighting opportunities and drive sales in industrial sectors.

The role requires a diploma/degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, 5+ years in sales or technical sales, and willingness to travel. Collaborate with distributors, EPCs, and product teams to design compliant, cost-effective lighting solutions.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, technical sales or application engineering.
• Experience in lighting, industrial products, energy, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or related sectors will be advantageous.
• Strong technical knowledge of lighting systems, especially industrial or hazardous-area applications.
• Willingness to travel within the region when required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies for industrial lighting solutions.
• Identify new business opportunities, market needs and customer segments.
• Support sales, product and project teams on regional lighting opportunities.
• Build routes to market through distributors, contractors, fabricators and OEMs.
• Provide technical training, product knowledge and application support to customers and partners.
• Deliver pre-sales consultation and post-sales technical support.
• Recommend suitable lighting solutions for industrial, hazardous and specialised applications.
• Conduct site assessments and troubleshoot product or system issues.
• Design and propose lighting solutions that meet safety, regulatory and operational requirements.
• Support specification work with consultants, EPC contractors and end users.
• Gather market intelligence, competitor insights and customer feedback.
• Travel regionally when required to support customers and business development.

Position: Technical Sales Manager (Industrial Lighting / Hazardous Area)

Location: Upper Paya Lebar (Nearest MRT : Tai Seng MRT - 13 minute walk)

Working hours: 5 days work week (Monday - Friday), 8.30am to 5.30pm

Salary (commensurate with experience): Gross up to $7000 (Basic up to $5500 + Sales Commission) + AWS

Duration: Permanent

Main Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering or related discipline.

Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, technical sales or application engineering.

Experience in lighting, industrial products, Energy, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or related sectors will be advantageous.

Strong technical knowledge of lighting systems, especially industrial or hazardous-area applications.

Able to deliver technical presentations, training and consultative sales discussions.

Good commercial awareness and ability to develop cost-effective solutions.

Willing to travel within the region when required.

Possess a valid driving licence and own vehicle.
