Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Sales Manager to offer technically complex to high-end integrated solutions. You will provide consultative selling to senior stakeholders and work with internal teams to deliver compelling proposals.

Develop relationships, expand brand awareness, and drive territory growth. Successful candidates have 6+ years in sales engineering within semiconductor and pharmaceutical industries, with experience in cleanroom and HVAC design, tender development, and GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in an Engineering discipline (process, mechanical, or electrical).
• 6+ years of sales engineering experience, incl. 3+ years in technical sales or business development in semiconductor/pharma.
• Experience and knowledge in cleanroom and HVAC system design.
• Experience in tender development, preparation and costings and GMP guidelines (IQ/OQ/PQ).
• Excellent presentation and persuasion skills with strong communication.
• Able to work independently.
• Proactive, driven, persistent, and innovative.
• Excellent planning, organization and time management.
• Willing to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Offer solutions from technically complex to high-end integrated or bespoke solutions.
• Provide consultative selling to directors and higher.
• Collaborate with internal technical, business and functional teams.
• Work closely with project teams during pre-sales and tender time.
• Identify opportunities and develop strategic sales with prestigious customers.
• Develop long-term relationships with customers.
• Enhance brand awareness with seminars, presentations, demos.
• Coordinate with engineering and project management to ensure proposals include technical solutions.
• Maintain records of opportunities, quotes, projects, contacts, and correspondence.
• Act as hunter to grow territory.
