Job summary

Johnson Controls in Singapore is seeking a Sales Engineer to develop and manage HVAC account portfolios by engaging customers and identifying growth opportunities. You will build relationships with contractors, consultants and end users to understand requirements and recommend suitable HVAC solutions.

The role requires 1–2 years of relevant experience in mechanical or electrical engineering, strong interpersonal and presentation skills, and a proactive, sales-driven mindset.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Diploma/Bachelor in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation and selling skills.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and follow-up of HVAC project opportunities by engaging customers and identifying solutions.
• Proactively generate sales leads through customer visits and outreach activities.
• Promote HVAC products and systems to design institutes, industry associations, integrators and partners to increase pipeline.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships for long-term engagement and satisfaction.
• Contribute to annual secured-order strategies and pursue year-on-year growth with defined targets.
• Prepare tenders and proposals; participate in negotiations to secure profitable orders.
• Manage order follow-through and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
