Job summary

Technical Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting technical products and solutions to new and existing customers. The role combines technical knowledge and sales skills to understand customer requirements, prepare quotations, and achieve sales target.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities and maintain strong relationships with existing customers.
• Understand customers technical requirements and recommend appropriate products, equipment's and solutions.
• Conduct product presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions with customers.
• Prepare qoutations, proposals, and sales presentations based on customer requirements
• Liase with suppliers, engineers, and internal departments to ensure products and solutions meet customers specifications.
• Provide technical advice and support to customers before and after sales.
• Follow up on enquiries, qoutations, orders, deliveries, and payments.
• Negotiate pricing, terms and commercial agreements within company guidelines.
• Attend customer meetings, site visits, exhibitions, and industry events when required.
• Maintain accurate records of customer information, sales activities, qoutations and opportunities.
• Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's overall business growth.
• Handle customer feedback and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve technical or service issues.
• May require travel to customer sites and business meetings.
