Job summary

Stigious Pte Ltd is seeking a quality engineer to ensure product conformance to standards and customer specifications. You will lead support for subsidiaries on new projects, evaluate RMA returns, and work with QE/ME to identify and rectify issues.

You will generate reports, train teams for new projects, and develop process instructions. Occasional overseas travel is required as projects demand it.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Diploma in Electronics or equivalent qualification.
• Experience in cable/wire harness, PCBA, and box-build environments is advantageous.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain necessary quality and engineering reports.
• Provide training for new projects, including customer quality expectations.
• Work with ME to develop Process Instructions (PI) to ensure process efficiency and effectiveness.
• Understand products and set up testers and fixtures to meet customer quality requirements.
• Perform product validation and verification to meet or exceed quality expectations.
• Conduct failure analysis, inspections, and troubleshooting for new products and prepare engineering reports.
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) on new products to ensure customer quality requirements are met.
• Maintain test equipment and ensure readiness for deployment on the shop floor.
• Be willing to travel overseas when required.

Primary Function

• Work with QE and ME teams to evaluate parts for new product projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

Skills & Qualifications

• Resourceful and able to work independently.
• Experience in cable/wire harness, PCBA, and box-build environments is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of environmental and safety requirements is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of test equipment such as LCR meters, bending test equipment, and multimeters.
• Knowledge of environmental, safety, and aerospace requirements is an advantage.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with excellent lateral thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Diploma in Electronics or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant engineering experience is an added advantage.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a related field is required.
