Job summary

People Profilers Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an Engineer (Quality) to develop, implement and continually improve the department and product total quality system, ensuring product specifications are met.

You will audit quality systems, drive preventive quality initiatives, lead MRB meetings, and provide guidance on QE tools to enhance process and product quality, with emphasis on customer satisfaction and metric targets.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Engineering/Physics/Material Science.
• Experience in semiconductor or automotive electronics manufacturing preferred.
• Experience with quality engineering tools, Six Sigma, and quality system implementation (TS 16949/QS 9000/ISO 9000) is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve the quality system to meet product specifications.
• Provide QE tools guidance to drive quality improvements.
• Perform system/process audits for quality compliance.
• Implement preventive quality initiatives to meet customer targets.
• Lead MRB disposition of non-conforming material and actions.
• Monitor First Time Quality and drive top issue improvements.
• Address customer returns with effective corrective actions.
• Strive to achieve customer satisfaction and scorecard targets.

Job Position: Engineer (Quality)

Primary Job Purpose:

• Develop, implement and improve the department and product total quality system to ensure product specifications are met.
• Facilitate quality improvement to the product and process by providing technical guidance in QE tools applications.
• Perform system and or process audit to ensure quality system compliance.
• Develop and implement preventive quality initiatives to achieve customer quality target.
• Lead Material Review Board meeting on disposition of non-conforming material and drive for actions to resolve non-conforming case.
• Monitor First Time Quality reviews and drive for improvement on top issues.
• Respond on customer returns and drive for effective actions to address customer returns.
• Drive for achieve customer satisfaction and meeting targets in customer scorecard.

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Engineering/Physics/Material Science.
• Experience in a semiconductor or automotive electronics manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Experience in application of quality engineering tools, Six sigma, quality system implementation (TS 16949/QS 9000/ ISO 9000),reliability or failure analysis will be an added advantage.
• Good interpersonal, leadership, analytical and communication skills.
