Job summary

STIGIOUS PTE. LTD. is seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure product conformance to quality standards and customer specifications across projects.

You will lead and support subsidiaries on new initiatives, evaluate RMAs with QE/ME teams, and drive improvements in product testing and validation. The role requires hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing, attention to regulatory and environmental requirements, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Experience with cable/wire harness, PCBA or box-build environments is preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word and PowerPoint; good documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain quality and engineering reports.
• Provide training for new projects and communicate customer quality expectations.
• Develop process instructions with ME to improve efficiency.
• Set up testers/fixtures to meet customer quality requirements.
• Perform product validation and verification to meet quality standards.
• Conduct failure analysis and prepare engineering reports.
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) on new products.
• Maintain and verify test equipment readiness for shop floor deployment.
• Travel overseas as required.

Primary Function

• Ensure product conformance to quality standards and customer specifications.
• Lead and provide support to subsidiaries for new projects.
• Evaluate customer RMA returns and work with QE and ME teams to identify and rectify issues.
• Work with QE and ME teams to evaluate parts for new product projects.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain necessary quality and engineering reports.
• Provide training for new projects, including customer quality expectations.
• Work with ME to develop Process Instructions (PI) to ensure process efficiency and effectiveness.
• Understand products and set up testers and fixtures to meet customer quality requirements.
• Perform product validation and verification to meet or exceed quality expectations.
• Conduct failure analysis, inspections, and troubleshooting for new products and prepare engineering reports.
• Perform First Article Inspection (FAI) on new products to ensure customer quality requirements are met.
• Maintain test equipment and ensure readiness for deployment on the shop floor.
• Work with ME to prepare reports on the status of all test equipment on the shop floor.
• Be willing to travel overseas when required.

Skills & Qualifications

• Resourceful and able to work independently.
• Experience in cable/wire harness, PCBA, and box-build environments is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of environmental and safety requirements is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of test equipment such as LCR meters, bending test equipment, and multimeters.
• Knowledge of environmental, safety, and aerospace requirements is an advantage.
• Strong organisational and communication skills with excellent lateral thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Diploma in Electronics or an equivalent qualification.
• Relevant engineering experience is an added advantage.
• At least 5 years of relevant working experience in a related field is required.
