Job summary

BuildBridge Partners Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Technical Manager in Singapore to oversee all technical and engineering aspects of building projects. You will lead design development, manage technical submissions, and coordinate with clients, consultants, architects, engineers, and authorities to ensure alignment with project requirements.

The role requires a strong background in civil/structural engineering, at least 10 years with main contractors, and proven ability to resolve complex

Qualifications

Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in building construction.
Experience with established main contractors in Singapore.
Strong skills in design coordination and technical submissions.
Familiar with Singapore building regulations and authority submissions.

Responsibilities

Oversee all technical and engineering matters across the project lifecycle.
Lead design development, submissions and construction drawings.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, architects and authorities on technical matters.
Review drawings to identify discrepancies and resolve coordination issues.
Ensure compliance with project specs and regulations.
Provide technical guidance to project teams and site personnel.
Coordinate with subcontractors on technical specifications, materials and construction methodologies.
Review method statements and shop drawings.
Identify technical risks and propose engineering solutions to minimise delays.
Ensure coordination between design, procurement and construction teams.
