Job summary

Bayes Recruitment Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Senior Civil/Structural Design Lead to oversee C&S/technical design for existing projects and new tenders, including Building and Infrastructure works.

You will lead design coordination meetings with consultants and clients. You will ensure drawing registries are up-to-date, review drawings and specs for discrepancies, and resolve technical issues in collaboration with consultants, trades, and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or above in Civil/Structural or relevant engineering discipline.
• 7–10 years of prior experience in design/technical functions.
• Experience with a contractor or consultancy and moving toward contractor-side roles.
• 5‑Days Workweek.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Lead C&S/Technical design functions; being responsible for (C&S) civil/structural site-based design matters of both existing projects and new tenders (Building/Infrastructure projects)
• Attending and being proactive in design coordination meeting with consultants / client
• Ensure drawing registry is maintained and latest drawings / BIM models are available for all parties involved
• To study & review drawings / specifications in identifying discrepancies and issue queries to consultants accordingly
• Resolve technical issues on drawings and liaise closely with Consultants, all trades and authorities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and above in Civil/Structural or relevant engineering discipline
• At least 7-10 years of prior experience
• Experience with a contractor (must be design/technical function) or from a consultancy environment and keen to move into a contractor-side role
• 5-Days Workweek
