Job summary

KLA is seeking a Sustaining Engineering professional to own end-to-end in-fab repair escalations for its China customer base from the Singapore team. You will diagnose complex tool issues, define root cause, and deliver engineering solutions including POAs, BOMs, and repair procedures to enable first-time-right repairs in the fab.

You will coordinate with field engineers, Design Engineering, Reliability, and Product Support while traveling to customer sites in China and HQ teams to ensure timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Opto-Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years sustaining or senior field service experience on semiconductor capital equipment (inspection, metrology, or similar tools).
• Hands-on troubleshooting at the board level and with opto-mechanical assemblies; experience with calibration, alignment, and repair.

Responsibilities

• Own L4 escalations from field in-fab repairs for China; drive issues to closure with technical ownership.
• Manage multiple escalations and sites in parallel, prioritizing based on impact and urgency.
• Plan and track milestones, coordinate field, HQ engineering, logistics, and supply chain to keep repair projects on schedule.
• Document root causes, solutions, and lessons learned for the knowledge base.
